The “Mt. Fuji Cosplay World Convention” had been held every year in the shopping district in front of JR Shimizu Station in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka City, but was cancelled for two consecutive years until last year due to the spread of the new coronavirus.

A woman in her 20s visiting from Kanagawa Prefecture said, “This was the first time I attended the event since it was cancelled due to the coronavirus disaster. I have been looking forward to this event for a long time, so I am very happy.

This event will be held until the 20th at the Shimizu Station Ginza shopping street and JR Shimizu Station East Exit Park in Shimizu-ku, Shizuoka City.
